In this production, the play was set on the outdoor deck of Dennis’s apartment. The set was decked out with sports trophies, records, and crushed beer cans. Dennis (Freddy Vaccaro) and Warren (Chandler Sinks) faced off, and despite their height differences, Dennis successfully bullied and manipulated Warren while refusing to show his own vulnerable underbelly until the emotional end of the play. The production placed you right in the middle of it all, unable to look away from the fallout of this volatile personality and the closest person in his life to him.
