Mercutio in
Romeo and Juliet:

Written by:
William Shakespeare

This production of Romeo and Juliet was performed outside in Central Park and Brooklyn. The adaptation stuck closely to the original script, with lines added to highlight the queer themes of the play. Freddy got to play Mercutio, a long-time dream role. In this production the fighting style was central to Mercutio's character and Freddy got to do the most intense stage fighting of his life. Being intimate with the audience when performing the famous "Queen Mab" speech was also a highlight of the outdoor venue.
